New Road through wetlands. Unenforced wetlands violations abound in Accomack County. Protection of wetlands throughout the County is of vital importance in mitigating the effects of surface water runoff. If a road interrupts a flow pattern, surface pollutants are trapped. This road is on Chincoteague.
